Marangoni and Mavesa Group: agreement for sustainable development in Ecuador
Wednesday, May 22, 2013
The Marangoni Group is pleased to announce that an important partnership agreement has been signed with Ecuadorian company Mavesa S.A., which over the last five years has become a market leader in the sale of motor vehicles and high quality after-sales service.

This partnership will help the Mavesa Group further consolidate its share of the automotive market, by opening three retreading plants in Ecuador (two for retreaded truck tyres and one OTR plant) - one of which just inaugurated a few days ago - all featuring the latest Marangoni technology.

The agreement has been facilitated by new policies implemented by Ecuador’s government to encourage sustainable development, protect and safeguard the environment, and consequently greatly favouring all recycling and retreading processes.

Kléver Vaca Garzón, the company’s President, believes that the partnership with Marangoni will represent a further important source of growth and profits, as users can be offered an exclusive product and the highest quality, using state-of-the-art RINGTREAD technology, but will also help create new employment and reduce consumption of natural resources and waste material. Moreover, the objective is to help end users keep costs down by using highly reliable tyres that can guarantee improved efficiency and prevent the risk of vehicle downtime.

The Marangoni-Mavesa partnership aims to produce around 60,000 tyres a year in the three  plants, with clear environmental benefits.
